Fort Bend Junior Service League (FBJSL) has begun its membership drive for the 2016 – 2017 League year. Provisional membership is available to women ages 21 to 50 years.

Women interested in learning more about the League are encouraged to attend our Bring a Friend Social on May 12th from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Lupe Tortilla in Sugar Land or the informational meetings scheduled for June 9 th and July 14 th from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Please check the FBJSL website, www.fbjsl.org, for location details and other information.

FBJSL members will have the opportunity to provide direct service to the following agencies: Child Advocates of Fort Bend, East Fort Bend Human Needs Ministry, Fort Bend Rainbow Room, Fort Bend County Women’s Center, Texana, Houston Museum of Natural Science-Sugar Land, Literacy Council of Fort Bend County, Lunches of Love, Parks Youth Ranch and Fort Bend Teen Service League (FBTSL), a mentoring project of FBJSL. Members may also serve on the Sugar Plum Market committee.

FBJSL is an organization of women committed to promoting volunteerism, to developing the potential of women and to improving the Fort Bend County community through the effective action and leadership of trained volunteers. Its purpose is exclusively educational and charitable as well as providing an atmosphere of friendliness, goodwill and camaraderie for all members.
