Jessica Gregory

President

Since joining the Fort Bend Junior Service League in 2017, Jessica has taken on the responsibilities of Mentor, Mentor Lead, Director of New Members for two consecutive years, and President Elect. Being a part of FBJSL has been a deeply rewarding experience for Jessica. Having called Fort Bend County her home for over three decades, her roots are deeply ingrained here, and she feels a strong sense of responsibility and pride in contributing to its betterment through her role of President of the Fort Bend Junior Service League this year.

Jessica and her husband Mark are parents to five children and cherish the company of numerous pets. When she’s not busy working and volunteering, Jessica loves traveling with family and friends, attending concerts and musicals with her daughter. Jessica can be reached at president@fbjsl.com.

Kelsea Weatherford

President-Elect

Kelsea joined FBJSL in 2014. During her provisional year she served on the Spring Fling Committee. She has held many leadership positions throughout FBJSL such as Provisional Mentor, Social Committee Lead, Director of New Members, Vice President as well as serving on the Beneficiary Review Committee. This will be her third year serving on the Board of Directors. Kelsea has a true passion for serving Fort Bend County and takes great pride in calling our community her home.

When Kelsea is not busy volunteering, she enjoys cheering on her four children and her loving and supportive husband in whatever sport or passion they are currently pursuing. Kelsea looks forward to serving the league this year as President-Elect. Kelsea can be reached at presidentelect@fbjsl.com.

Laura Kagy

Vice President

Laura Kagy joined FBJSL in 2020. She chose to be a Provisional Mentor during her first active year and loved connecting with the new members. Last year she served the League as the Board’s Secretary. Now, as the Vice President, she is excited to work with amazing women and make a positive impact in the community.

In her free time, Laura enjoys crafting, sewing, reading and hanging out with her family. She lives in Fulshear with her husband, two teenagers and two dogs.  Laura can be reached at vicepresident@fbjsl.com.

Brenda Woodbury

Treasurer

Brenda joined FBJSL in 2020.  She has served on the Sugar Plum Market Committee for the past 3 years, the Finance Committee the past 2 years, and has enjoyed delivering Meals on Wheels when she can. This is Brenda’s first year on the Board of Directors. She lives in Richmond with her husband, Jason, and teenage son.  When Brenda isn’t volunteering, she enjoys listening to live music, going to musicals, hanging out with friends, and spending time with her husband and son.  Brenda can be reached at treasurer@fbjsl.com.

Dana Loper

Director of Membership

Dana joined the Fort Bend Junior Service League in 2016. She chose the Literacy Council of Fort Bend to serve her Provisional year.  Dana has served the League in various capacities as Mentor, Mentor Lead, and the Director of Technology for the League years 2018-2020.  She is happy to be back on the Board as Director of Membership for the 2023-2024 League year.  Dana is an Escrow Officer and has worked in the Title Insurance industry for 30 years.  She is a Native Houstonian and a proud Graduate of Stephen F. Austin State University.  In her spare time, Dana enjoys spending time with family, (including her four-legged child Lola Lynn), friends, traveling, and attending as many Jimmy Buffett concerts as she can. Dana can be reached at membership@fbjsl.com.

Lindsay Rolph

Director of Community Service

Lindsay joined FBJSL in 2018.  As a provisional she volunteered with the Houston Museum of Natural Science in Sugar Land and the Fort Bend Teen Service League. As a provisional she found her love with working with the Teen League; the young women of the Teen League are exceptional volunteers and leaders in their community.  In her spare time, she enjoys Christmas decorating, spending time with family and friends, and playing with her new puppy, Kalea. Chelsi Oestreich

Sugar Plum Market Liaison

Chelsi joined the Fort Bend Junior Service League in 2017. Since joining the league, she fell in love with the Sugar Plum Market and raising funds for countless non-profits benefiting Ft. Bend County. She began serving on the Sugar Plum Market committee in 2018, served as a Vendor Lead in 2019-2020 and was a Co-Chair for the 2021 and 2022 markets. This is Chelsi’s first year to serve on the Board of Directors.

Chelsi and her husband, Eric, live in Sugar Land where they are raising their two daughters. In between running her own consulting business and shuttling the kids to their sporting activities, she is also very involved in her church and its children’s and student’s ministries. Leslie Fish

Director of Technology

Leslie joined the Fort Bend Junior Service League in 2016. She chose the Museum of Natural Science to serve her Provisional year.  Leslie has served the League in various capacities as Mentor, Mentor Lead, and the Director of Technology in 2020. In her spare time, Leslie enjoys spending time with family, friends, traveling, and attending as many musicals as she can. She believes that being a volunteer is a work of heart. Sarah Kavani

Director of New Members

Sarah Kaivani joined Fort Bend Junior Service League in 2020. Since completing her provisional year, she has served as a mentor and mentor lead for the new member team. As the Director of New Members, she remains committed to ensuring that all new members feel supported and empowered to make a positive impact within the Fort Bend community.

Michelle Vargas

Director of Public Relations

Michelle joined FBJSL in 2019, she quickly became acquainted with Lunches of Love and Reining Strength Therapeutic Horsemanship where she spent her provisional year heavily volunteering. You may also recognize her as your bartender at Sugar Plum Market and more recently as a mentor to new members.

This is Michelle’s first year to serve on the Board of Directors. A born and raised Houstonian, yet Katy has been home for the last 30 years, where she has raised her children. Tanesha Mosley

Past President

Tanesha joined the Fort Bend Junior Service League in 2018. During her Provisional year, she volunteered extensively with Gigi’s Playhouse, Lunches of Love, and Fort Bend Children’s Museum and Sugar Plum Market.
