Fort Bend Junior Service League Celebrates 25 Years of Impact and Opens Membership Applications for 2025–2026
The Fort Bend Junior Service League (FBJSL) proudly celebrates its Silver Anniversary this year, marking 25 years of women-led service and philanthropy across Fort Bend County. Since its founding, FBJSL has raised and reinvested more than $6 million into the community, supporting over 100 nonprofit organizations that serve a wide range of local needs.
Best known for its signature event, the Sugar Plum Market, FBJSL has built a lasting legacy of bringing women together through meaningful service, strong leadership and genuine friendship, while making a lasting difference in the community. This summer, FBJSL is accepting applications from women who are passionate about giving back and interested in joining an organization devoted to community service. Membership details and applications are available at www.fbjsl.org. The League will also host several recruitment events, where potential members can meet current volunteers and learn more about how FBJSL serves Fort Bend County. Event details are available on the website and on the FBJSL Facebook page at www.facebook.com/FortBendJuniorServiceLeague.
“As we celebrate 25 years of impact, we are just as excited about the future as we are proud of our past,” said NaTasha Vaughn, Director of New Members. “FBJSL is not just a place to volunteer. It is a place to grow, lead, and build lifelong friendships. There is a place for you here.”
FBJSL looks forward to welcoming a new class of members as it continues its legacy of service, strength, and sisterhood.
