These projects are the schools’ show of support for breast cancer awareness month. FBJSL is proud to partner with DCMS, SLMS and other area organizations to raise funds for the FBJSL Breast Cancer Fund, established in 2009 to further the community’s fight against breast cancer. Through the fund, FBJSL works with the American Cancer Society in an ongoing, collaborative effort to provide financial support for programs and services designed to provide access to breast cancer prevention, early detection, treatment, and an improved quality of life for Fort Bend County breast cancer patients.

The “VolleyPink Project” is an annual fundraising event for the players, coaches, staff and families of DCMS and SLMS. The teams and coaches collect donations and change for several weeks leading up to October, breast cancer awareness month.

Any school, business or organization interested in partnering with FBJSL to raise funds to further breast cancer treatment, prevention and awareness is encouraged to contact the League at info@fbjsl.com or 281-636-6272. FBJSL is a 501(c)(3) organization committed to promoting volunteerism, to developing the potential of women and to improving the Fort Bend County community through the effective action and leadership of trained volunteers.
