Fort Bend County, TX- The Fort Bend Junior Service League’s (FBJSL) Beneficiary Review Committee (BRC) has been actively supporting local organizations through its Community Assistance Fund (CAF) grants and Event Beneficiary (EB) program. Each League year, the Fort Bend Junior Service League reviews event beneficiary applicants based on the needs of those agencies and the goals of our organization. The committee recently concluded in-person interviews with approximately 40 Event Beneficiary applicants. FBJSL selects beneficiaries that will thrive due to our support. These organizations provide vital services to Fort Bend County, and funds raised at the annual Sugar Plum Market will significantly impact their efforts.

The Fort Bend Junior Service League (FBJSL) is an organization of women committed to promoting volunteerism, developing the potential of women, and to improving the Fort Bend County community through the effective action and leadership of trained volunteers. Our purpose is exclusively educational and charitable as well as providing an atmosphere of friendliness, goodwill and camaraderie for all members.
Proceeds from various events and fundraisers have made it possible for FBJSL to donate more than $5.75 million to non-profit agencies in the Fort Bend community since its inception in 2001.
