Awards CAF Grant to Families Helping Families and is accepting scholarship applications

Fort Bend County, TX— The Fort Bend Junior Service League (FBJSL) is dedicated to making a positive impact in our community. We’re excited to share two initiatives that support our mission.

Supporting Local Families in Need

We’re proud to announce that our Community Assistance Fund (CAF) grant has been awarded to Families Helping Families. This grant will help support their Thanksgiving Food Drive, providing a week’s worth of groceries to low-income families in the Stafford school district. Our donation will make a significant difference in the lives of these families during the holiday season.

Empowering Students through Scholarship Awards

We’re now accepting applications for our annual Scholarship Awards. If you’re a female high school senior in Fort Bend County who has demonstrated outstanding volunteerism and community service, you may be eligible for one of our $1,000 Volunteer Scholarships. We’re also offering a $2,000 New Beginnings Scholarship to support Fort Bend County women who have been accepted into an accredited college, university, or vocational school after taking a break in their education.To learn more about our scholarship opportunities and to access the application forms, please visit our website at https://www.fbjsl.org/scholarship-programs/. The Fort Bend Junior Service League (FBJSL) is an organization of women committed to promoting volunteerism, developing the potential of women, and to improving the Fort Bend County community through the effective action and leadership of trained volunteers.
